Join us for a panel discussion and tour highlighting the restoration projects of St. Patrick Catholic Church

Join us for the second lecture in our Steeples of the Holy City series, featuring St. Patrick Catholic Church—one of Charleston’s quiet treasures. Founded in 1833, this historic church is among the earliest predominantly Black Catholic congregations in the United States and stands as a powerful testament to faith, resilience, and the African American experience. Hear from the Pastor, architect, and restoration team as they share insights on current preservation efforts supported by the National Fund for Sacred Spaces. The program concludes with a guided tour of the sanctuary and cemetery.
