Walking Tour:
250th Anniversary & Revolutionary History

This tour follows the footsteps of the men and women who supported the American cause during the Revolutionary War and helped shape Charleston’s role in the fight for independence. Guided by licensed Charleston tour guide Judi Edgar, the tour begins at The Battery overlooking Charleston Harbor, where participants will explore the significance of the Battle of Sullivan’s Island and other pivotal events. From there, the route winds through Charleston’s historic streets—including King, Meeting, Church, East Bay, and Broad Streets—highlighting the homes, businesses, and gathering places connected to local patriots.
