Madison Lee

Madison Lee is a passionate advocate for thoughtful preservation and community connection. She graduated from the College of Charleston in 2022 with a Bachelor of Arts in Historic Preservation, where she came to believe that preservation should do more than honor the past — it should actively serve present communities and future generations.
Following graduation, Madison spent a year working in marketing and product management before returning to her roots in preservation and civic engagement. In her role as Community Outreach Coordinator at the Preservation Society of Charleston, she is committed to fostering meaningful dialogue between historic places and the people who live among them.
A James Island native, Madison brings a deep personal understanding of the challenges facing Charleston — from overdevelopment and rising tourism to the growing threats of climate change. When she’s not working to create a more resilient and inclusive city, you can find her fishing in local creeks or soaking in the beauty of the Lowcountry’s landscapes and waterways.
