Join us for an enlightening evening with Dr. Michael Blakey, a revered biological anthropologist and former director of the African Burial Ground Project in New York City. Drawing from his experience pioneering an ethical model for descendant community engagement through the African Burial Ground Project, Dr. Blakey will offer insight to inform the approach to seeking human dignity for those interred at 106 Coming Street.

Parking: Due to the current construction of the Emanuel Nine Memorial, parking on the Mother Emanuel Campus is limited. Attendees may utilize the Gaillard Parking Garage at 32 Alexander Street or the Marion Square Parking Garage at 399 King Street.
