Madison Lee – Biography

Madison holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Historic Preservation and Community Planning from the College of Charleston, where she was recognized as an Albert Simons Scholar and School of the Arts Scholar. After graduation, Madison worked in marketing and project management before focusing her career on preservation, joining the PSC in November 2023. In her role as Community Outreach Coordinator, Madison hopes to help strengthen the dialogue within the community around historic and cultural resources. Having grown up on James Island, she understands the impacts that development, tourism, and climate change have on Charleston, a city she holds dear. Outside of her advocacy with PSC, Madison can be found fishing in a creek and enjoying the natural resources and picturesque landscapes that the Lowcountry has to offer.
